We take the protection of your personal data seriously. You can generally use this website without providing personal data. We only collect and process the data that is technically required to operate the website, as well as the data you send us via the contact form or by email.

The legal basis is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in conjunction with the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Below we inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data.

Please note that data transmission over the internet can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Given the size of the company and the nature of the data processed, there is no obligation to appoint a data protection officer.

2. General information on data processing

2.1 Scope

We generally process our users' personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services, or where you have given your consent.

2.2 Legal bases

Where we obtain consent, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR is the legal basis. For processing to perform a contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR applies. Where processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR applies. Where processing is based on a legitimate interest, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR is the legal basis.

2.3 Storage period

Personal data is deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply or a statutory storage period expires, unless further storage is necessary to conclude or perform a contract.

3. Provision of the website and server log files

Each time this website is accessed, our system or that of our hosting provider automatically records data and information from the accessing device:

  • IP address of the requesting device
  • date and time of access
  • the resource requested, plus the amount of data transferred and the status code
  • browser type and version, operating system used
  • previously visited page (referrer), if transmitted

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the delivery, stability and security of the website. The data is not merged with other data sources and is not analysed for marketing purposes. The log files are deleted or anonymised after seven days at the latest.

The website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with this provider pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Processing takes place solely to provide the website and in accordance with our instructions.

4. Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, statistics or tracking services. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making. Your language choice (German/English) is controlled by a parameter in the address bar and is not stored.

5. Fonts and external content

This website embeds no external resources. All fonts, scripts and images are served exclusively from our own server. In particular, there is no connection to third-party servers such as Google Fonts, content delivery networks or embedded map or video services. As a result, no IP address is transmitted to third parties when the page is loaded.

6. Contact form and email contact

You can send us a message via the contact form. The data you provide (name, email address, message text) is transmitted and stored, as is – to prevent misuse and ensure IT security – your IP address and the time of submission.

To protect against automated misuse (spam), we use a computational puzzle (“proof of work”). This is processed exclusively in your browser and on our own server; no data is transmitted to third parties and no cookies are set.

The legal basis for the processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give as part of the submission process. If your enquiry is aimed at concluding or performing a contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR is an additional legal basis. The processing of the IP address and time stamp is based on our legitimate interest in the security of our systems (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Alternatively, you can contact us directly by email. In this case, the personal data transmitted with the email is stored and used solely to process your enquiry.

This data is not passed on to third parties. The data is deleted once the respective conversation has ended and the underlying matter has been conclusively resolved, unless statutory retention periods apply. The additionally collected IP address is deleted after seven days at the latest.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of the processing carried out until withdrawal remains unaffected.

7. Rights of the data subject

If your personal data is processed, you have the following rights:

  • Access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure, unless an exception applies (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • Data portability in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • Objection to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (e) or (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • Withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)

To exercise your rights, an informal message to the contact details given under section 1 is sufficient.

8. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data. The authority responsible for us is:
